Blair VanNostrand, DMD

Dr. VanNostrand is from Long Island, New York. He graduated from S.U.N.Y. Stonybrook with a degree in Anthropology, and Temple University School of Dentistry. He completed his residency at the UCONN Health Science Center. He has been practicing since 1997 and came to FDH in 2006. He is a member of the ADA, MDA and the AGD. He is active in continuing education and a member of the Spear Study Club. Dr. VanNostrand is an avid mountain biker, enjoys snowmobiling and is a trivia enthusiast. He lives in Freeport with wife, Camilla and his son Wil.

Darren Smith, DMD

Dr. Smith is from Scarborough, Maine. He graduated from Hobart College with a degree in Biology, and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his residency at Community Dental in Portland, Biddeford and Lewiston in partnership with Tufts University and Maine Medical Center. Dr. Smith decided he wanted to remain in Maine to work, be close to family and to be an intrinsic part of the community in which he grew up. Dr. Smith lives in Saco with his dog Casco. He is an avid skier and also enjoys boating, kayaking, hiking and biking in the warmer months.
